About DFF

ABOUT DFF
The Dutch Fashion Foundation (DFF) supports the social and cultural role of Dutch fashion on a national and international level by offering platforms for presentation, connection and knowledge exchange.
Based in Amsterdam, DFF is part of a network of the most talented Dutch fashion designers.

ACTIVITIES SINCE 2000
In 2000 the Dutch Fashion Foundation (DFF) emerges out of a growing need for the development of a Dutch fashion climate.
Angélique Westerhof, co-creator and director of the master course Fashion Institute Arnhem, perceived that graduated fashion designers experienced difficulties in presenting collections on their own, starting their own label and creating a connection with the international fashion industry. She established the Dutch Fashion Foundation to activate a collective, self organizing Dutch fashion discipline.

Blueprint
20 years of Dutch Fashion Foundation projects has grown an amazing family of fashion designers and a ‘second skin’ of creative and facilitating talents. Together they make up the blueprint for Dutch fashion today.
