As an addition to the Dutch Fashion Awards 2009, the city centre of The Hague became the centre point of Dutch fashion from October 30th till November 8th 2009 through a series of pop-up venues throughout the city. The Résidence de la Mode provided national and international fashion lovers, fashion professionals, and the The Hague shopping public with an overview of what Dutch fashion has to offer. Heart of the fashion route was Maison Le Démarrage, a temporary gallery store presenting the designs of upcoming Dutch fashion designers Roos Koster, Jimmy Paul, Ireneo Ciammella, Aida Saracini, Sara Vrugt, Twan Meijerink and Ivo Mittelmeijer.
