On Tuesday July 24th 2007 the Dutch Fashion Foundation and Mercedes-Benz presented the third edition of the exclusive fashion salon ‘Prelude’, completed with a dynamic programme throughout the evening. Together with main partner Mercedes-Benz, the Dutch Fashion Foundation underlined its quality mark in fashion in the presentation of the new Spring/Summer 2008 collections of Mada van Gaans, Corné Gabriëls and Conny Groenewegen with their own individual catwalk shows.
The ‘Prelude’ fashion salons are a fashion incubator platform consisting of an overall assistence and the possibilty for a designer to participate in the fashion salons for four fashion seasons. Through this platform designers receive the opportunity to present their collections to the network of the Dutch Fashion Foundation, consisting of press, companies, and fashion and creative professionals. The ‘Prelude’ fashion salons were held twice a year on the eve of the Amsterdam Fashion Week.
